Occupational Therapist

Calvary Adelaide Hospital is the largest private hospital in South Australia and we are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team.

• Fulltime 6 months AHP1 Occupational Therapist position
• Fulltime 12 months AHP2 Occupational Therapist position

• Seeking Occupational Therapists with acute hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience

About the role

An exciting hospital based acute and rehabilitation role, working across multiple wards in a newly established state of the art health care facility. Providing Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting patients to achieve health outcomes.      

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload. 
• Participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients throughout their healthcare journey. 
• Provide supervision and guidance to team members and students. 
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of high quality services. 
• Participate in professional development and education of colleagues. 

What you bring  

• Experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant disease, conditions and hospital presentations.
• Full practicing AHPRA registration.
• High quality communication and organisation skills. 
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
• Current drivers’ license is preferable.
