Our Team:

Come help us explore the world of selfcare through the Consumers eyes . You will inspire our developers, packaging team and designers to re-evaluate assumptions of our diverse portfolios and pipelines through new lenses.

You will be responsible for leading Consumer/ Product research activities in the AMEA region to discover what consumers WANT and what MOTIVATES them about several diverse topics within selfcare and will work closely with R&D, Marketing and Market Research.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and recommend state of the art consumer/ product research that help inspire product development, packaging and design teams

  • Lead the technical evaluation of selected priority products versus competition, including and contribute to the selection and development of products and translate differences into various consumer facing communications/ visualizations, etc.

  • Identify and lead best research methodology to inform key development and business decisions.

  • Help multifunctional teams clarify business objectives to ensure we are getting the most out of the proposed research but more importantly, answering the best questions for our categories

  • Update, maintain, and add new external vendors to help support growth & vision within the territories

  • Lead multifunctional teams in challenging and helping to refine product/ platform objectives

  • Build strong relationships with a collaborative, creative, passionate, smart team to challenge the status quo

  • Dig deep and further develop your leadership and creative abilities to drive change in an organization that is thirsty to become the top of all our categories while maintaining our core values of courage, teamwork, respect and integrity

  • Work closely with the whole team to build the best consumer experiences

About you

  • Education : Bachelor, Master or PhD in a Science field (or other relevant Academic qualification)

  • Experience : Ideally 10+ years experience in Product Research with a global FMCG or Consumer Healthcare company, Or a partner agency that works closely with FMCG companies to deliver their Product Research goals

  • Proven track record of leading research for the development of market validated, consumer loved products

  • Proven Leadership expertise managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement at various levels

  • Soft skills : High level communication skills and commercial acumen, a ‘people person’ to build partnerships Able to work autonomously and take action in this newly created role, open to some travel required to different country sites

  • Technical skills : Experience in ‘Consumer Science’ and Sensory testing preferred
