As a Gaming Technician Assistant Manager , you will be responsible for managing the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Gaming equipment. In addition, you will also assist the Gaming Systems Technical Manager with scheduling, training and supervision of the Gaming Technical team whilst working with the regulators to ensure compliance in all aspects.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be able to lead a highly knowledgeable team while continuing to support the wider Gaming team at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Gaming Systems Technical Manager with supervision of Gaming Technicians and Gaming Trade Assistants
  • Manage the procurement of spare parts for Electronic Gaming equipment
  • Provide on the job training in relation to installation and maintenance of Electronic Gaming equipment and other duties as required
  • Ensure activities comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands and professional and ethical standards

What we are looking for:

  • Trade Certificate or Certificate 3 in Electronics
  • Thorough understanding of the technical aspects of Electronic Gaming equipment
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Skilled in the use of electronic testing equipment
  • Analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously
