Health and Safety Officer - Civil Contractor - Dublin

Job Description:

  • Our client is a well-established Irish Civil Contractor that is expanding their operations.
  • They have a strong pipeline of both private and public projects, mainly in the Dublin & Leinster region.
  • Maintaining and improving the company safety management system.
  • Carrying out safety inspections.
  • Accident/incident recording.
  • Carrying out site safety inductions.
  • Identifying training requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractors' health & safety performance.
  • Coordinate safety meetings with site management & subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain construction stage H&S plan, risk assessments, and traffic management plans.
  • Prepare and present project handover file at job completion.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in HSQE in civil construction.
  • Good academic qualifications, 3rd Level qualification in Health & Safety preferable.
  • Experience with relevant HSQE standards and management systems.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • High standard of written English is essential.
  • Full driving license.

Package:

Salary €45K-€65K Negotiable depending on experience.
