The Hospital
A 303-bed acute care teaching hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and mental health services to over 250,000 residents.
The Location
South Australia, known for its vibrant arts scene, cultural festivals, and renowned wine regions. It's a coastal city situated on the eastern shores of Gulf St Vincent, with a population of around 1.3 million people. The facility is located approximately 10 minutes from Adelaide CBD.
The Role:
They use a team approach to address the needs of patients and their carers, and work with health professionals across all health settings bringing knowledge, skills and expertise to enhance the care they provide. The palliative care teams include palliative care medical specialists, specialist nurses, specialist social workers, pastoral care and volunteers.
In this role, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard, applying relevant research to practice, and participating and contributing to undergraduate and post graduate education.
The Requirements:
You must hold the FRACP and or be eligible to obtain it via training from NZ, UK, Ireland, USA or Canada.
