Occupational Therapist

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent

• Member of Occupational Therapy Association Australia

• Experience in community based assessment and rehabilitation including basic equipment prescription, home modifications, service identification and sourcing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders

Tasks & responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based Occupational therapy services

• Home-based occupational therapy assessments, recommendations, and reviews for NDIS participants / HCP & STRC clients.

• You will be responsible for enabling people to participate in their day-to-day tasks and improve & their Quality of Life.

• Functional capacity assessments and recommendations for ongoing support to achieve set goals

• Home modification assessment and recommendations with relevant information

• Driving assessments

• Pressure injury risk reviews and management

• Equipment assessment, recommendations, prescription, applications, and report writing

• Ensuring all recommendations meet legal requirements of Australian Standards (where applicable)

• Maintaining high-quality standard documentation and paperwork

• Liaising with other health professionals to provide optimum care to our clients

Expected salary $ 120000 AUS per annum inclusive of supper annuation
