You will report directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.As An Embedded Engineer II, You Will:Be responsible for supporting embedded software design and development for MIL-AERO electronics productsDesign, develop, modify, and evaluate moderately complex embedded software-based designs for the military and aerospace marketsWork with internal team members to solve software and system issuesSupport specific project initiatives as needed. Be a key resource for other embedded software design engineersPerform embedded systems engineering tasks including requirements analysis, operational concept development, software system design/architecture, component integration, design reviews, integration testing, and problem-solvingDebug issues with existing systemsCreate detailed plans for the implementation of software solutions including input into the determination of language, platform, and resource requirementsPerform code maintenance including debugging and updating to keep pace within a fast-paced and evolving design environmentInterface with customers to understand needs and verify requirementsMust Haves:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field.3 years of design/development/test of embedded real-time control software.
