Agestrong Health Group seeks to appoint a Casual experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our Occupational Rehabilitation team. 

Location: Remote

About The Role

• As a Rehabilitation Consultant your role will be vital in assisting injured workers return to work in a safe and sustainable manner.
• Case management of clients with physical and/or psychological injury/illness 
• Worksite Assessments including ADL’s, Pre-Employment Assessments, Ergonomic assessments & JTAs.
• Promote and clearly identify pathways for the safe Return To Work of injured workers including the identification of Return To Work barriers and strategies to overcome the same.
• Design, develop, implement and monitor return to work programs in line with expected recovery time frames.
• Use your exceptional communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders including workers, employers, treating practitioners and insurance Agents to assist with Return To Work planning.
• Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
• Attend Medical Case Conferences with various specialists/health practitioners.

About You

• Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist (General AHPRA registration or ESSA membership mandatory);
• Current Police Clearance and valid drivers licence;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem solving abilities;
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach; and
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
