Job Description: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Pre-Registered Optometrists to join our dynamic team at our Reading location. As a Pre-Registered Optometrist at Leightons, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will play a key role in delivering comprehensive eye examinations, providing expert advice, and assisting with the management of a diverse range of eye conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Providing expert advice on eyecare solutions, including spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical products.
• Building strong relationships with patients and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assisting with the management of eye conditions and referring patients to specialist services when necessary.
• Keeping accurate patient records and maintaining high standards of clinical governance and compliance.

Requirements:

• Eligibility for registration with the General Optical Council (GOC) as a Pre-Registered Optometrist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
