casual
lifestyle assistant, you will make a positive impact on the lives of our residents with your compassionate and supportive approach with activities, whilst also assisting with personal care of clients if required.You will be responsible for creating and ensuring that lifestyle programs are run according to the changing needs of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual recreational activitiesCoordinate activities and therapies as directed by the Lifestyle Coordinator.Ensure that all recreational activities and therapies comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.Assist with maintaining documentation of activities and therapies according to Aged Care legislation requirements, including individual resident activity profiles.Facilitate community engagement opportunitiesAbout YouThe ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:Certificate 3 or 4 in Leisure & Lifestyle/Divisional Therapy (preferred but not essential)Any other relevant qualification from a registered trade organisation (preferred but not essential)Demonstrated experience in an Aged Care environmentHighly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksMaintain a high level of professionalism at all timesHighly motivated and able to take initiativeExcellent communication style, ability to communicate effectively with people of all levelsFull Drivers Licence (mandatoryUndergo an Pre Employment Medical (mandatory)What We Can OfferSalary sacrificing / packaging optionsOngoing Training and Coaching & Career PathwaysRange of employee benefits & discountsEmployee Assistance ProgramPlease Note: Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker CheckOur residential aged care communities are supported by specialised teams who care deeply about our residents’ individual needs.
