About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Lutheran Homes you will report to the Care Manager, to provide assistance, support and direct care of the highest quality to consumers residing in the residential aged care facility.

About You

You are determined to make a difference in the lives of older people and are passionate about helping them live their best lives. You also possess compassion and integrity as well as strong organisational and time management skills. Previous experience in caring for older people with dementia will be highly valued. Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, strong communication skills (personal and written). Ability to work with a diverse range of people. Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring current NDIS worker clearance . In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
