About the Role:

As the Operational officer you will be responsible for providing:

• assistance to Medical, Nursing and Allied Health in the care, treatment, and transportation of patients throughout the facility.
• maintaining hygiene and cleaning standards in accordance with Department of Health and Infection Control Guidelines.

Beaudesert Hospital:

Beaudesert Hospital ( https://metrosouth.health.qld.gov.au/beaudesert-hospital ) is a modern rural health care facility located in Queensland's Scenic Rim region. The hospital has a rich history of providing quality health care services to the local community and today provides a range of specialties including surgical procedures and birthing services.

The Hospital provides a: 

• range of speciality services including general medicine and surgery, birthing services, antenatal and postnatal care. Beaudesert Hospital also operates a 24-hour emergency service.
• range of surgical procedures under local and general anaesthetic, allowing many local residents to receive treatment closer to home.
• range of obstetric services for local women with low-risk pregnancies.

All of these services are closely linked to Logan Hospital, situated around 45km to the north, where more complex care is organised and provided as required.
