About you: 

You have proven leadership skills and abilities in the provision of operational supply functions in a client-focused environment and supervisory skills, including ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments. You possess knowledge of Food Safety regulations and Workplace Health and Safety regulations relevant to industrial food service operations and have previous work experiences related to large volume food service in a health care/hospitality setting.

Your opportunity: 

To ensure efficient and cost-effective store operations within the food services environment, undertake tasks associated with developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating store management practices, policies, and procedures in alignment with the values and directives outlined by CHHHS.

Your role: 

• Supervise 002 storemen to ensure all store functions are executed to comply with food safety programs and policies.
• Manage the allocation and execution of tasks related to supply handling, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, delivery, and stocktaking within the food services department.
• Monitor stock levels and procure alternative substitutes as needed.
• Collaborate with the Food Services Dietician on menu management tasks, including but not limited to product allergen management.
• Place daily/weekly orders and conduct routine stocktakes and checks according to the Food Services IT systems (Delegate) Supplier online portal or manual methods.
• Maintain all relevant order sheets and thawing lists and communicated efficiently with the management and chefs when required.
• Manage all cost centre tasks, including record-keeping and cost control.
