About the role
As a Lead Content Strategist, your expertise in leading the content strategy for web projects and products will be pivotal. You will be working in a small squad delivering one of several projects within the wider digital transformation team. In your project you'll be working on the digital strategy, customer research & insights, information architecture, stakeholder and project management to research, discover, plan and design content for a particular website or section of content. You will work within a wider multi-disciplinary team, working closers with content designers to write user first content and publishers/producers to publish content to web, but also working with UX/UI designers, Tech Leads & Developers to web and deploy websites. Your strong stakeholder relationship management skills and an analytical mindset will help you build rapport with stakeholders and deliver great user experiences. 

Your contribution
•    Conducting and analysing customer research to understand users' digital behaviour, preferences, and pain points, and using these insights to inform digital strategies and improvements.
•    Developing and overseeing the execution of digital content strategies that engage and inform customers across various web properties with a focus on user first, task-based content, including designing information architectures.
•    Leading Content designers in the writing of content for web, ensuring it meets the needs of users and fits within your information architecture.
•    Collaborating with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and user-friendly digital interfaces, ensuring a positive and engaging user experience.
•    Leading digital projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

What you'll need:
•    Experience with enterprise web content management systems such as Squiz Matrix.
•    Extensive experience in leading the strategy and delivery of web content operations in large projects, including the development of information architectures.
•    Ability to lead content designers in the delivery of content within web projects.
•    High level analytical skills, particularly in the use of data and user research to make informed decisions about content and the user experience.
•    Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and provide strategic guidance to resolve complex issues.
•    High level communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders across and external to the organisation to achieve best practice content experiences and business goals.
•    Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
