The Hospital The hospital has recently enjoyed a major renovation and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 250 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The hospital is also accredited for training with a number of the colleges and provides the following specialist services to the local community: ED, O&G, Paeds, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics, ICU, Coronary care, Psychiatry, Aged Care, Renal Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Palliative Care and Day Surgery.
The Position Join a high performing, supportive Women’s Unit on a full time basis as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist where you will work within a team of highly skilled and dedicated health professionals. You will provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives, as well as providing supervision and support to doctors in training.
Requirements Hold FRANZCOG qualification/ will be a fully qualified FRANZCOG in the coming months Have had your specialist training assessed by RANZCOG and have been found to be 'substantially' comparable. Current registration with AHPRA/eligible for registration.
