The Role

We are looking for a Casual Medical Assistant to join our Royal Park practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high-quality and comprehensive care for all patients.This role will provide support with reception and administrative duties while providing a superior customer service experience to patients and healthcare practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and take action to replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments as required and take measures to ensure instruments are maintained and replaced when no longer in working order.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Document all patient care activities
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients
• Provide admin support

The Successful Candidate

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed
• Flexibility with availability
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize
• Working With Children Check Clearance
• Evidence of routine immunization serology
• Eligibility to work in Australia required
